STmedical LLC company overview:

STmedical is a digital-health company developing and testing telemedicine and AI-driven solutions for cardiovascular and preventive medicine. Our platforms streamline patient management, automate medical documentation, enable remote monitoring, and support clinical decision-making for chronic diseases such as hypertension, dyslipidemia, and heart failure.


We develop our products in active cooperation with:

    •    The local Medical Faculty (Pavol Jozef Šafárik University, Košice) – supporting clinical research, medical validation, and academic development (with 4 PhD students conducting research on our projects)    

    •    The Technical University of Košice – providing expertise in software engineering    

    •    A major outpatient cardiology clinic (Kardiocomp, Košice) – one of the largest cardiology practices in the region, where approximately 18,000 patients are followed long-term, with 1,000–1,200 outpatient visits every month. 


This real clinical environment serves as the primary setting for development, testing, and validation of our telemedicine and AI technologies.

    •    Telemedicine interest is growing in Slovakia, with most patients curious about digital monitoring, but only a minority ready for full adoption or using smart devices approved by guidelines 

    •    Smart health technology use is limited, though younger adults adopt wearables and mobile apps more readily.

    •    Awareness of cholesterol levels is poor, and many patients remain above recommended LDL targets, highlighting gaps in cardiovascular prevention.
